HEALTH BENEFITS OF SAUNAS
Saunas began their life in Finland over two thousand years ago. The word ‘sauna‘ is Finnish for bath house and is the only Finnish word used in the English language. Almost every house in Finland has a sauna – now that is telling you something. There is a reason why – because they have so many positive therapeutic outcomes.
Now a true sauna experience, according to traditional Finnish standards, involves a heater and stones. If the stones are dry, you have what’s called a dry sauna experience; if you ladle a small amount of water onto the heated stones, it creates a burst of steam, adding humidity to the air, and you then have what’s called a wet sauna experience.
These are the saunas that we provide and believe these traditional Finnish designs and standards is what makes our sauna experience so physically and mentally rewarding.

All barrel saunas are perfect for enjoying with family and friends. And are ideal for the backyard, open verandah or even inside.
You can bring the comfort and warmth of the traditional Finnish sauna to your very own backyard, holiday retreat or accommodation venue.
Pending on the size of the barrel sauna you select they come with a 4.5kw, 6kw or 8kw stainless steel Harvia heater and sauna stones. The sauna will heat to as much as 90.5C in approximately under an hour.
Sprinkle water on the hot sauna stones for a rejuvenating burst of steam and additional heat. This can be repeated multiple times throughout the sauna session as a way to add humidity to your dry sauna. These saunas can be used dry or wet – it is a matter of just adding water.
Our barrel saunas are built using Western Red Cedar which is a thick and insulating timber, ideal for keeping the heat from your sauna inside. This timber also has great natural qualities from insect resistant to weather extremities from extreme heat to snowy mountains. Our barrel saunas also feature high quality stainless steel hardware, thick tempered glass door and a long easy-to-open cylindrical door handles. All of the barrel saunas include a standard LED light bar to give the sauna a soft accented glow adding to the enjoyment of the sauna experience.
The barrel sauna is designed using a ball-and-socket profile held in place by stainless steel bands.
Minimal fasteners are used to show off the natural and smooth timber qualities and to allow for maximum heat circulation because of the curved walls. The heat is constantly flowing, allowing for a full and rejuvenating sauna experience.
The sauna is mounted on polymer support cradles that keep the undercarriage of the sauna from coming in direct contact with any moisture on the ground.
Our barrel saunas are the traditional steam barrel ultimate sauna experience. The barrel design is practical, sturdy, stylish, and allows for maximum heat circulation.
Due to the circular barrel-shape, the heat gets circulated back down along the curved walls instead of pooling near the top and this creates a constant flow of evenly distributed heat throughout the sauna. Truly a great sauna heat experience like you have never had before.
These saunas are constructed using Western Red Cedar which is thick and insulating, making it the perfect sauna for outdoor (or indoor) use.
